Are you a Progress Energy bargaining unit employee working in the jurisdiction of IBEW Local 433?
Then we would like you to join our union and realize the benefits that union membership has to offer.
To join, please consult with your shop steward or the local officers.
The following forms are required: A very small initiation fee is also required.
Make sure you are informed of "BA" and "A" type memberships. The Financial Secretary can supply this information.
In addition, we are encouraging all members to consider signing up for a COPE authorization. COPE, the IBEW's Committee on Political Education, is the primary means of political fund raising for the IBEW. The IBEW will use the funds to make political contributions and expenditures connected with federal, state, and local elections to ensure that the needs of working people are addressed. Suggested contributions are $5.00 per month, but any contribution is appreciated. Deductions are taken once a month on the 2nd pay check for Progress Energy Florida employees.

Initiations are held at the regular local union meetings.
