After returning to the bargaining table yesterday with an amended GWI proposal and re-presenting our proposals of wage bumps, the Company countered with their "Last Best" offer. This offer includes the previously offered 3% general wage increase, as well as a change to the 40% minimum call-out percentage for the line department. It also calls for Doubletime for all hours worked for Mutual Assistance off Duke Energy property.
The Company and the Union also agreed to extend the "no strike, no lock-out" provisions of Article XII until December 31, 2018. This essentially means status quo while we work to get an agreement in place.
